I did not disappear - okay, maybe just a little but I have been busy. Maybe not too busy but enough to where I'm tired and fall asleep the instant my head hits the pillow.
1. I volunteered to be a "hair model" for my mom. She manages a beauty supply store here in town and recruited the females in the family to get free cuts and color done on their hair if we didn't mind being used for educational purposes. Needless to say, I spent all weekend getting my hair colored (it looks awesome) and getting (I still have long hair though but the cut's updated and took some weight off my unbelievably thick hair).
2. I'll be taking on a new role at work. The one they spent two weeks training me for and that I've worked at for two-to-three weeks now is disappearing. Luckily, another job is being created and that job is mine so I can still support the family (and my Polaroid habit because I need more film!).
3. 4th of July is almost upon us and I'm not sure what the family is doing yet. We were thinking about the whole family getting together at Ft. Desoto and grilling out and whatnot but ah, it's Wednesday and nobody has mentioned anything to me yet about what we're doing, if anything.
4. Some issues with my return to college have come up and I'm not happy about that but whatever. I'll get it all worked out, hopefully in time to attend classes.
5. I am so freaking tired. Tired. Tired. Tired. And I'm in the middle of putting images together in a folder that I can burn onto a cd so I can make a dvd at work. They're doing free dvds for employees and I'm putting together a whole bunch of family photos. That's consumed a lot of my time lately too.
Features will return shortly. Likely in a day or two. I try to grab what time on here I can because we have our afternoon (or all day) rainshowers and thunderstorms and sometimes there is lightning which makes it difficult to be online. Hope everything is well with everyone else and have a safe and happy 4th if I'm not heard from again until afterwards!
